The Partnership Concept-- An Invitation
The Einstein program never acts alone. We can try to expose and explain new ideas and promising technologies, but when it comes to actions all programs and projects are organized and carried out in close collaboration from beginning to end with concerned local institutions, groups and individuals. Einstein views itself as a partner, willing and able to contribute in part because of its outstanding human resources, timely mandate, and its strong international communications and information capabilities (thanks to a major installation which permits international videoconferences, high speed data exchanges, Internet and WWW access and site development capabilities).
In addition to its international learning partner network, the work of the group is guided by a distinguished Board of Governors which includes some of the outstanding thinkers and practitioners in the "new learning" in leading institutions across Europe and North America.
In addtion to its role as a partner for pilot projects and demonstrations that show how these new techniques can be put to work in practical and cost-effective terms in the Basque Country, the association will also work to develop:
- Fund raising and institutional support within the Basque Country (including equipment, software and support for needy schools)
- A Basque language publication program (books, working papers, articles in journals, etc.)
- Media program (radio and television productions and appearances, multi-media presentations)
- Public speakers and discussion organizers
- School, museum, town hall exhibits and programs
Do you have a project or a problem that you might like to discuss with us? Do you have time, expertise, equipment, software, or financial support that you wish to contribute to make this program succeed. Get in touch. This is a challenge for every single person in the Basque Country. But we must start somewhere. [Tap here to send your message]
