Knoogle World Carshare 1.0 is one of a cycle of specialized combined search engines under development by the New Mobility Agenda. Knoogle 1.0 is the first iteration of a power search engine specifically tailored to help policy makers, local government, researchers, NGOs, activists, consultants, concerned citizens and the media to keep up efficiently with the work and activities of the leading international groups, programs and sources leading the field of sustainable transport and sustainable cities.

Knoogle is a product of the collaborative New Mobility Knowledge Environment: Linking a worldwide learning community in support of urgent, climate-driven transport reform in cities - http://www.knowledge.newmobility.org . (The name combines the two basic components that make it work, KNOwledge and goOGLE, into a single memorable (?) word (pronounced "kah-noogle").)

Please read before consuming

We invite you to test this beta version of our combined search engine, which will allow you to view the results of a quick unified scan based on your selected key words, each time combing through several hundred carefully selected programs and sources that we view as leading the way in their work and competence in the on-going carsharing revolution worldwide.

To familiarize yourself with the eventual usefulness of this toolset, we suggest that you begin to scan for a city, country, technology, supplier, issue, person, etc. Then once you are on the first level of call-up, you can fine-tune, including using the "refinements" (section to follow).

As indicated this is a beta. And while the top index works nicely in many cases, in some you may not get the desired tight focus on carsharing sites and sources. In the event, just add the word "carshare" (carsharing also can help) to your main search term(s). (Or if you are looking into other language sites, try "car club" or Autopartage or Autodelen or Autoteilen, etc. as the case may be.) Sorry, we are working to fix this beta glitch.
