Summary Bio
Robert Moskowitz is an international business consultant, author, and time management "guru" with a knack for writing about complex and difficult topics in a friendly, down-to-earth style. In his more than three decades of professional activity, he has been a senior consultant for Hill and Knowlton Public Relations, editor of a dozen monthly newsletters, an executive and consultant in the dot-com world, and president of his own book publishing company. In the context of Earth Car Free Day, it is germane to note that he is founder of two closely related non-profit organizations: The Public Interest Media Project, and the American Telecommuting Association. He has lectured and taught on such related topics as white collar productivity, making money on the Internet, and caring for aging parents. His published books include "How To Organize Your Work and Your Life," "Small Business Computing -- A Guide in Plain English," "Out On Your Own," and "Parenting Your Aging Parents." Robert has volunteered to join in and help prepare the way for ECFD 2001 in three important ways. The first is to do what is needed to help plug us into the world of telecommuting organizations and practitioners in order to gain their cooperation with the big Day. Second, he has offered help as a writer and media consultant in getting the word out more generally. Finally, and most modestly, he is undertaking to see if he can bring as many people and groups as possible in the otherwise incorrigible LA area into the Earth Car Free Day events. Good luck to him.
