Summary Bio
Sierra James's academic training was at the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. Her work experience includes promoting peaceful relations in South Asia at the Henry L. Stimson Center in Washington DC, and creating strategic partnerships for a Seattle based internet company. Beginning in the fall of 2001 Sierra will pursue an international law degree focusing on issues of international governance and sustainable development. Sierra is coordinating the Earth Car Free Day 2001 campaign for the International Team at the Earth Day Network in Seattle, Washington. Outreach to international, regional, national and local groups will involve event organizers at each level and assist biking, walking and safety groups in participating in the Earth Car Free Day.
