I support ECFD
This is a rather large and somewhat complicated site and tool set -- fair enough given the considerable level of ambition that we have for our project.
We have worked hard to make it user friendly: relatively easy to get into, understand, and make quick and efficient use of. If you will take a bit of time to familiarize yourself with the various components of this tool set, you will find that it offers a number of things which can help make this a more informative, pleasant and creative experience.
If this is a first flying visit, we suggest you take a few minutes to work your way from left to right across the HotBar that appears at the top of every page. The bookmarks you see there have been chosen to provide a fast way to access and understand the most important current topics and tools.
Then, if you are really interested in understanding the underlying concepts and all their many parts with a view to putting them to work, we invite you to turn to the Road Map for our detailed user guidelines. These guide you step by step down the main menu to your left and will leave you with a profound understanding of this concept and all you can do to make it work in your city, community or family. Once you have mastered the concept, a good next step is to see what others are planning for April 19rh. For this we invite you to search the interactive ECFD Database.
Projects and Participation

The first step in this process is of course to review what is presented for you here and to make a first decision as to whether or not you may wish to to be involved in some way. That done, all you have to do to get involved in an efficient and powerful way is to proceed to our efficient Registration Desk. From there, all you have to do is follow the step by step instructions and you will be quickly a part of the 2001 experience, including the Quick Sign-In.

Print or Peek?

This site has been created and optimized with on-screen, real time use in mind. You can of course print out the contents; however if you do that you are losing, say, 60/80% of what this tool set is meant to offer: its interactivity, potential depth, and great flexibility. Which of course is what the Information Society is all about.
