Mr. Wiederkehr is Administrator in the Pollution Prevention and Control Division of the OECD Environment Directorate. Dr. Weiderkehr’s responsibilities include air pollution issues, as well as surveys and analyses of policies and programs on pollution control technologies and costs in OECD Member countries. He is also involved in assessment of new policy initiatives, such as voluntary approaches of industry for environmental protection. Prior to joining OECD, Dr. Wiederkehr was Scientific Officer at the Air pollution Control Division of the Swiss Federal Environmental Protection Agency in Bern, Switzerland, where his responsibilities included national air quality monitoring, data analysis, evaluation and reporting of the National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Network, national emission inventories for major pollutants.
