Philippe Crist

Rapporteur, Session 1c

Philippe Crist is an independent consultant, policy advisor and activist who has worked on a broad range of issues from rural development policies to issues relating to the information society and sustainable development. A confirmed teleworker, he is a Research Associate with EcoPlan, a non-profit policy research group based in Paris, as well as a consultant to the OECD on transport and sustainability matters. Most recently, he has helped develop EcoPlan's World Wide Web Internet site in support of this conference. Before coming to EcoPlan, Mr. Crist was the Community Affairs Coordinator for the U.S.-based Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. He holds undergraduate degrees in economics and anthropology and a masters degree in land use planning.
