Mr. Orfeuil joined l'INRETS in 1977. He now works in the Division Economie de l'Espace et de la Mobilité, furthering the understanding of mobility, the politics of transportation and the use of space and land. His latest book, Je suis l'automobile (Editions de l'Aube, 1994) deals with modifying the land use required by automobiles.
