Amory B. Lovins

Mr. Lovins co-founded and directs research at Rocky Mountain Institute, a 14-year-old non-profit resource policy centre in Old Snowmass, Colorado. He is Principal Technical Consultant to its subsidiary E SOURCE, the premier source of technical information on advanced electric efficiency. A 1993 MacArthur Fellow, Mr. Lovins has received the Mitchell, Onassis, Nissan and “Alternative Nonel” Prizes, an Oxford MA and six honorary doctorates. He has written 22 books and hundreds of papers, held visiting academic chairs and consulted extensively worldwide. The Wall Street Journal’s Centennial Issue names him among 28 people in the world likely to change the course of business in the nineties.
