Al Cormier is the Executive Vice-President of the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA), an association of transit systems and their suppliers in Canada, and a member of the International Union of Public Transport. He has held the post since 1980. Prior to that time, he worked for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation for over 20 years in traffic engineering, administration and management of the Ministry’s transit subsidy program.
